Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the Sales Inbox, answering or redirecting internal and external queries
  • Sales order entry from hard copy purchase orders onto in-house database
  • Checking of processed sales order to ensure accuracy
  • Running and issuing various reports from in-house database
  • Logging of customer reported non-conformances on in-house system, acknowledging receipt to customer and processing orders/actions for resolution
  • Answering telephone calls on the Customer Services/Sales loop (answering product queries, directing to sales reps, confirming delivery dates etc.
  • Responsible for managing materials/fabric samples, including monitoring stock levels, keeping area tidy, labelling new stock, distributing to customers
  • Answering door and signing people into visitors/contractors books
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Arranging parcel deliveries via DHL’s online booking system
  • Creating O&M manuals
  • Filing paper copies of orders
  • Scanning and saving delivery notes
  • Other adhoc duties as required

Key Skills and Experience

  • Component IT skills including MS Excel 
  • Able to use their own initiative and prioritise their own workload, to achieve deadlines and daily tasks
  • Office experience is essential

Personal Qualities

Polite, professional and possessing a friendly telephone manner.
