Signs of a Reliable Recruiter

There are general misconceptions surrounding recruiters, from employers and from candidates. Complaints vary from pressuring candidates into jobs they aren’t sure about, to having a lack of knowledge in the sector they are recruiting for. All these factors contribute to the misconception that recruitment agencies can be unreliable.

At Juice, we consider ourselves as atypical of this stereotype. This has been exemplified over the last 15 years through our commitment to providing specialist recruitment services throughout West Yorkshire, including Huddersfield and Wakefield. Below, we have listed some qualities we possess, that make up the signs of a reliable recruiter:

GDPR Compliant

The protection of data is incredibly important, especially within recruitment. Agencies handle a lot of sensitive data from CVs to company information. It’s vital that candidates and clients feel comfortable knowing that their data is being treated confidentially and compliant with the recent regulation.

Screen Every Candidate

A vital part of the recruitment process is meeting every candidate that is then sent to the employer. This ensures that the recruitment agency can get to know candidates on a more personal level and engage in conversation to build a rapport that couldn’t necessarily be built via email or phone. We encourage every candidate to come into the Juice HQ for a chat and will not recommend them to an employer for one of the vacancies without doing so. In addition to this, our Directors are still very much involved in the recruitment process, which makes us unique to other agencies.

Specialist Sectors:

As previously mentioned, a lack of knowledge in the sectors recruited for by the agency can put candidates and employers at a disadvantage. Knowing the limitations of an industry can benefit recruiters in knowing the best attributes to look for within a candidate to then pass them on to the employer.
