Introduction
Juice are currently working with a well-established company who are recruiting for a Business Manager Support for a well-known collaborative. The role is remote, but the offices are based in Normanton or Sheffield (just next to Meadowhall) office work would only be required for important meetings. Our client is known for supporting the delivery of procurement to meet customer specific needs. The role itself will be working to support the Business Manager to deliver accurate evidence sets to all stakeholders demonstrating the performance of Tower 2 against KPIs and other business measurements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Permanent role
  • Pay: £32,750.01 – £40,102.79 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (can be flexible)
  • Working from home, remote working but for important meetings would need to attend the Sheffield office
  • Head office is based in Sheffield / Normanton

 

The role:

  • Collecting, analysing, and presenting key business performance information on a weekly,

monthly and annual basis

  • Monthly KPI and savings reviews
  • Category performance against agreed savings targets
  • Product switching Tracker
  • Product delisting’s, invoice queries and range management
  • Maintaining the procurement tracker for the life cycle of contracts within Tower
  •  
  • Preparing Category performance review data.
  • Preparing and reporting on SME use, market share, sub-categories, products,

             nationally contracted products, national pricing matrices and routes to market to

support reporting to company Members and SCCL

  • Any other data collection and analysis as needed to support evidence against nine

savings methodologies and/or special projects.

  • Administering local team-related activities including training record keeping, starter and

leaving records, IT equipment provision etc.

  • Providing a service for the Tower senior staff including Board and senior management

  • Preparing meeting agendas, papers and presentations.
  • Taking minutes
  • Maintaining the Tower workplan
  • Managing records and housekeeping for the OEC system, including liaising with

colleagues to ensure correct data

  • Preparing presentations in conjunction with the Business Manager, senior Tower staff

and the Corporate Communications and Marketing team

  • Maintaining strong relationships and positive communication with colleagues in Tower 2

and across Company

  • Working with Procurement Contract Support teams to collect data for tracking and
  •  
  • Working with other Towers and the Corporate Business Intelligence team to ensure

accurate data and effective performance data challenges as needed

  • Maintaining strong and effective working relationships with wider stakeholders including

             SCCL, suppliers and customers

  • Acting as a deputy for the Business Manager in his/her absence
  • Demonstrating the organisation’s CREDIT values continuously
  • Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required

Personal Qualities

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to use data in an effective manner
  • A proficient user of MS packages, this must include Excel
  • The ability to forge key working relationships, and a confident presenter is a keen desire for the successful candidate
  • Full understanding of reporting requirements across the Tower.
  • Full understanding the structure
  • Develop collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationships across company and other key stakeholders
  • Understanding of relevant of legislation (including procurement, equality, government

policies) to the category

  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job,

participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff development and

training

  • Always keep requirements in mind and continually seek to improve, striving for excellence at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and take the time to understand the role of these in the workplace
  • Ensure any mandatory training is up to date
