HR Advisor

Juice are currently working with a well-established company in Castleford, who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their growing team. We are really excited about representing this company for their great team, culture, modern offices and job stability.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their HR career in a commercial, people-focused environment. An interest in the automotive sector is beneficial, though not essential.

The Role

  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure full compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Lead the full recruitment cycle, including writing job specs, sourcing, and interviewing
  • Manage the onboarding process and support departmental training for new starters
  • Maintain and update employee records within the HR system
  • Oversee and implement return-to-work meetings and absence tracking
  • Support staff wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities
  • Work with managers to implement and monitor performance appraisals and 1-1s
  • Coordinate payroll inputs such as annual leave and sickness deductions
  • Support with salary benchmarking and benefits reviews
  • Update and maintain employment contracts, handbooks, and HR policies
  • Provide guidance on TUPE-related matters when required
  • Design and deliver basic in-house training sessions
  • Liaise with department heads and the board to support ongoing HR initiatives

About You

  • A minimum of 3 years HR experience
  • Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence in managing employee relations and handling sensitive matters
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in delivering or coordinating staff training is desirable
  • A full UK driving licence
