Wakefield BID are delighted to announce that they have exciting opportunities for individuals who are passionate about our city's growth and prosperity. We are seeking 4-5 dedicated Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to join their dynamic team and help lead the way in revitalising Wakefield.
As a vibrant initiative driven by the local business community, Wakefield BID represents nearly 700 businesses committed to innovative projects and investments that enhance our community. Their priorities are clear:
- PLACE: Committed to maintaining a clean and safe city centre environment, day and night.
- PROVISION: As they navigate our city’s transformation, they're here to support businesses practically and financially.
- PROMOTION: Let’s boost Wakefield’s profile together! Through events, animations, and strategic marketing, They’ll showcase our city on regional and national platforms.
The NEDs will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality leadership to the BID company and its associated structures. While these positions are unpaid, expenses are covered, and the commitment is approximately 8-10 days per year.
